“This product is God send!!! I have 3a/3b hair fine but frizzy!! I struggled to find a good conditioner that wasn’t heavy for my curls. This is it! It provides the right amount of moisture without weighing down my curls. I don’t rinse it out completely because I use it as my leave in as well! I follow with the new cream styler and my curls are bouncy full of volume and defined! I do the curly hair method and you should too! DEVACURL you nailed it with this one!” – bellanova

Here is what one reviewer who tried Be Gentle, Be Kind Avocado + Quinoa Co–Wash had to say:
“I’ve tried a lot of co-washes, but this is definitely my favorite. It cleanses so well, but still leaves my kinky, tightly coiled, color treated so soft, manageable and moisturized. The moisture seems to really penetrate my hair shaft, leaving it really smooth after I rinse so that detangling is a breeze. It’s worth the price!” – queeng

Here is what one reviewer said about Bb. Curl (Care) Conditioner:
“I tried all the uses, co-wash, conditioner and leave-in to be able to write a review. My hair is very thick and coarse with 3A curls + bleached highlights. As a co-wash: it was quite rich, wouldn’t recommend for thin or fine hair. As a conditioner: it was nice, left my curls soft and I had not a lot of frizz. As a leave-in: a LOT of definition, 0 frizz.” – youdith

Stars: 4.2 / 5

“I have bleached hair, so I like to use sulfate-free products products to be a little gentler on it. This shampoo is fine, but I don’t feel like it does its job any better than cheaper sulfate-free shampoos I’ve tried. I received it for free and it’s good enough that I’ll use the whole bottle, but I won’t be repurchasing because it just doesn’t seem to do anything special for my hair.” – carlykjj

Here is what one user who tried Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Avocado Hydrating Shampoo said:
“I’ve tried so many shampoos for curly hair during the past 2 years. I’ve conditioning washes, silicone-free shampoo, and even drugstore products for curly hair and nothing has ever impressed me. I’ve found that they either weigh my loose curls down or they just don’t clean very well, this is the complete opposite of that.
I’ve finally found a hydrating shampoo that lathers well and doesn’t weigh my hair down. This shampoo leaves my hair feeling extremely clean and healthy. I’ve been so blown away by how shiny my hair looks like since I started using the Curl Charisma range.
My only con with the Curl Charisma shampoo is the size of the bottle for the price, it is quite a small bottle but I’ll happily get it again because I haven’t found something that works this well for my hair.” – LauraNeuzeth

Here is what one user said about Curl Conditioning Wash:
“Long review, but… I love this product I have 2b curly hair (beach wavy/curly & fairly thick), have normal/oily scalp, dry ends, and I only wash my hair 2-3x/wk. I live in the Houston area, where it’s humid about half of the time and REALLY humid the other half 😉 so frizz control with w/o weighing my curls down is ideal for me!
I actually use a ‘normal’ shampoo to cut through the product & oil on my head first, then I use this co-wash. I leave it in for a bit after massaging through, rise it out, and sometimes – on those rare occasions the humidity is low-ish – I follow with a li’l bit of conditioner. I follow up with a different brand of curl cream found at that other store (REALLY wish sephora carried Brocato products), which has just the right amount of hold w/out too much weight for my curls. The LP curl cream was too heavy & didn’t have enough hold for me, but I digress…
My hair feels soooooooo silky & is sooooo happy with this product! It doesn’t seem to fully clean my hair by itself & takes waaaaaaay too much product when I try, which is why I use shampoo before this, and the combination works perfectly for me! If you like this product, but don’t feel like it does the trick by itself, maybe try a li’l shampoo beforehand? I would prefer to not use so many products, but it’s not the worst thing I’ve endured to look good 🙂
Oh! And I just dampen my hair the 2nd (and sometimes 3rd) days, then add more curl cream to keep rockin’ my waves w/out washing it. I only occasionally have to use dry shampoo on the 3rd day, in order to help soak up the natural oil on my scalp 😀 Hope this helps!” – aggieamy
Another reviewer said:
“This is not a “lathering” shampoo, which I assume is the reason for the low ratings … and I will admit, I almost disregarded for the same reason. I got this as a deluxe sample and it sat in my bathroom for a long time before I finally reached for it. I knew absolutely nothing about it, Thank Goodness, or I would have never given it a try as soon as I read it did not lather. BUT it is one of the most smoothing and hydrating shampoos I have ever used. The first time I used it, my hair was 5 days dirty, full of beach spray, styling products and hairspray, I have very long hair, and took it out of a messy bun right before stepping in the shower, I didn’t even comb out tangles, I got my hair wet and applied shampoo and immediately noticed no lather BUT my hair instantly smoothed out and de-tangled, it was like magic, I was amazed. It got my hair squeaky clean and was very soft and smooth when dry. I would still prefer a lather, we are just programmed to believe, lather is what cleans … but the results I get is what is important … I love this stuff and have since purchased.” – CynNC1961

It leaves my hair full and soft and I have never got so many compliments on how my hair looks since I started using it. I color my hair so it is usually dry especially at the ends but after using this shampoo and conditioner it looks amazing. Absolutely would recommend.” – obtech

I took one star off for the packaging, wish it was a squeezable instead of the tub…made it messy and difficult to scoop with nails. But will purchase the full size most definitely.” – fattykat

I was disappointed the first few times I used it, my hair actually felt even greasier. But I decided give it a chance, and boy, was I glad I did! My hair came out so light and healthy, like a child’s hair! Just finished my second bottle, and my hair still feels like a dream! “Lovely easy-lathering no-sulfate shampoo is safe for hair color, and my spouse (who also colors) loves it. The coconut scent veers toward popcorn, which can be a bit heady but doesn’t stay in your hair. I am using this in very humid weather and getting good results. Wonder how it would do in the dry winter. My spouse loves this product, or maybe he is just attracted to the aqua blue bottle. Nice big bottle, and it’s easy to get out without a pump. Unlike many no-sulfate shampoos, it does not take much to get your hair clean, and you don’t need to shampoo twice.” – Kimus
